A group trip planner. Bring your friends into one app and keep everything in one shared place — itineraries and events, shared expenses, live location, reminders and packing lists, documents and contacts. Built for festivals, road trips and getaways.

Create a group from inside the app, then share the invite link or the short code. Tapping the link joins instantly — and if the person doesn't have Lumela yet, it sends them to install it first and drops them into the group afterwards.

Add an expense, choose who it's split between and how (evenly, by amount or by share), and Lumela tracks who paid and who owes. You can attach receipts, add several payers to one expense, and include guests who aren't in the app.

Open the wallet and tap the person whose balance looks off. Lumela itemises both directions of that pair — every expense that added to what you owe them, and every one that added to what they owe you. Nine times out of ten the answer is a split that included someone who wasn't there.

Yes. Live location is always opt-in, shared only with the group you chose, and only while you leave it on. You can turn it off at any time, and it's never shared outside the group.

Yes — it's offline-first. Anything already synced stays readable with no connection, and things you add offline are queued and sent as soon as you're back online. A banner at the top of the screen tells you when you're looking at cached data.

You're almost certainly opening an older lumela.apk that's still sitting in your Downloads folder. Download again from the site and open the newest file — each release is served under its own version-stamped name so you can tell them apart.

Reminders are per person and per item — open the event or task and toggle its reminder for yourself. For everything at once, use your device's notification settings for Lumela.

A planned optional subscription that will add larger groups, more simultaneous trips and a managed AI assistant. Everything you use today stays in the free app.

In the app: Settings → Delete Account. That removes your account and personal content. If you're the only admin of a group you'll be asked to hand it over or delete the group first. You can also email us and we'll do it for you.

iPhone on iOS 18 and later via the App Store, Android via the direct APK download (Google Play is on the way), and any modern browser through the web app.

If you see an error banner in the app, press and hold it — that copies a diagnostic report you can paste into an email, and it sends the details to us at the same time. Otherwise just write what happened to hello@lumela.tours; a person reads every message.
